ISA SUP Worlds in Sayulita, Mexico. May 8-17. 2015
Preparing for yet another World Championships is like waiting for Christmas when your a kid for me. So exciting and not really knowing what is going to happen, you just know that you want it to come as soon as possible.
Participating in as many SUP races as you can, is the best way to gain experience and get better. With Carolina Cup just wrapped up and taking away as much as possible leads me into the World Championships.
It pushed me into different ways to train to make sure I can "Show up, Stand up and Keep up" (SIC). The experiences has given me new goals while training so I can perform my best at the Worlds.
It has been a great journey and I am very honoured to be part of Team Canada and represent my country again. This is my first time at such big event with SUP so I am really looking forward to it. I hope some of my experiences from the Olympic games will still be around to help me, after all I also want to have fun and really take in these moments. Getting to know team members and other athletes is always has been my favourite part, after competing of course!
I'd like to give a huge Thank you to all my friends and supporters who helped me out with my campaign to these Worlds. With out you I would not have been able to do so. It is such a blessing to heave people like you!
A big shout out to all my Sponsors who continually put the best paddle in my hands and the fastest board under me. I get the non stop support and make sure Im always having fun.
I am very excited and ready to rock ! Like my dad (Daddyo) use to say before our big races "lets Rock and Roll" (strong Hungarian accent with it.)
